Ages
Play On is open for players ages 9-12. For the Fall 2024 season, the age cut-offs are as follows:
U11: Born in 2014 or 2015
U13: Born in 2012 or 2013
These age cut-offs are in effect from August 2024 - July 2025
City cup
Players that are enrolled in the Play On and Play On Plus program will automatically get an invite to the City Cup.

How do I determine my child's age group (U11, or U13)?
For the 2024/25 season, age divisions are as follows:
U11 Age Group: Players born in either 2014 or 2015
U13 Age Group: Players born in either 2012 or 2013
Our age divisions are based on US Club Soccer's matrix (divisions include two age groups - i.e. our U9 group = U-8 and U-9 age groups combined.
How does a player qualify for the City Cup?
Any player who participated in a Play On/Play On Plus season is eligible for the corresponding City Cup (i.e., participants in Fall 2024 season will qualify for the Fall 2024 City Cup).
For each Spring City Cup, players from the entire year (Fall or Spring seasons) will be eligible.
Note: You must register for City Cup at the end of the Play On season.
Will players receive a City Futures jersey for participating?
No, Play On Plus players will not receive a jersey. If they are enrolled in the Play On program, they will receive a jersey at Play On training.
Jerseys are distributed at the training sites during the Play On season.
How do we know when a practice is cancelled?
We use the Crossbar app to communicate with parents. Practice can be cancelled due to weather, field conditions, a conflict at the venue, or other reasons. For most cancellations, we will notify you in advance on the day of practice. We will also email and post notifications on our website.
