How do I determine my child's age group (U11, or U13)?

For the 2023/24 season, age divisions are as follows:

U11 Age Group: Players born in either 2013 or 2014

U13 Age Group: Players born in either 2011 or 2012

Our age divisions are based on US Club Soccer's matrix (divisions include two age groups - i.e. our U9 group = U-8 and U-9 age groups combined.

How does a player qualify for the City Cup?

Any player who participated in a Way to Play/Futures Select season is eligible for the corresponding City Cup (i.e., participants in Fall 2023 season will qualify for the Fall 2023 City Cup).

For each Spring City Cup, players from the entire year (Fall, Winter, Spring seasons) will be eligible.

Note: You must register for City Cup at the end of the Way to Play season.

Will players receive a City Futures jersey for participating?

No, Play On players will not receive a jersey. If they are enrolled in the Play On program they will receive a jersey at Play On training.

Jerseys are distributed at the training sites during the Way to Play season.

How do we know when a practice is cancelled?

We use the Crossbar app to message with parents. Practice can be cancelled due to weather, field conditions, a conflict at the venue, or other reasons. For most cancellations we will notify you in advance on the day of practice. We will also email and post notifications on our website.
